Screening demo

Current behavior

Lite returns fixture-backed candidate analyses and records a completed sample screening immediately. Only candidates with existing sample analyses count as processed; the rest are reported as unscored. Starting a screening does not call Jev or another AI provider, parse resume content, generate new analyses, or deduct real credits.

The Hiring assistant in the sidebar calls POST /assistant/chat. Its deterministic replies summarize this organization's current jobs, candidate rankings, and screenings. Responses carry source: demo; the endpoint does not call a model.

Production integration

Implement resume parsing, provider calls, job requirement evaluation, progress tracking, and credit accounting in your backend. Keep the response shapes in docs/API.md. Treat automated scores as decision support requiring human review.
